Meet the people behind the mission of the CAP COM Cares Foundation
As President/CEO of CAP COM and an enthusiastic volunteer, Chris is devoted to community service. Enhancing lives across the Capital District aligns with CAP COM’s emphasis on meaningful interactions.
Paula was instrumental in forming the CAP COM Cares Foundation in 2003. The hallmark of her 39-year career as President/CEO was reaching those in need and making giving personal.
Becky is CAP COM’s Director of Community Engagement and a great advocate for the Capital Region. In addition to the CAP COM Cares Foundation, Becky is involved with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Schenectady City School District Education Foundation, the Albany Symphony, and the Junior League of Albany.
Dave has served as CAP COM's Chief Financial Officer since 2000. His fiscal expertise, and passion for giving back, make him an ideal steward of donor's gifts for maximum local impact.
Sharon co-founded the CAP COM Cares Foundation with Paula Stopera. Her most recent role during her long tenure at CAP COM was Vice President of Organizational Development.
Paige is CAP COM’s Community Impact Manager. She is a tireless and vocal advocate for programs that deliver help and hope directly to people in need.
Susan is CAP COM’s Chief Relationship Officer. Susan also gives her time to other community outreach, such as Arbor Hill Neighborhood Association, YWCA, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and Schenectady Symphony Orchestra.
Pat earned his Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering at Clarkson College and a Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology. He has been a member of the Credit Union for over 32 years and a director on the Credit Union board since 1990.
