Technology Scholarship

This scholarship is granted to one student who is pursuing a technology degree, thanks to the family of a longtime CAP COM board member. Today's young innovators are tomorrow's agents of change!

$2,000 Scholarship

If you plan to explore technology's amazing potential as an undergraduate student, we invite you to apply for this $2,000 scholarship. This award pays tribute to CAP COM board member, Art Goedeke and his enthusiasm for computers and technology.

Eligibility: CAP COM members who are high school seniors or college students pursuing an undergraduate degree in computer science or information technology are eligible to apply.*

Applications for the Technology Scholarship are no longer being accepted at this time.

All applicants will be notified of our decision by May 31, 2019.


* To be eligible for the scholarship, you must be a member of CAP COM Federal Credit Union when you submit your application. You must also be at least a graduating high school senior through the age of 25 and must be studying or planning to study for an undergraduate degree. The applicant must not have received a scholarship from the CAP COM Cares Foundation within the past two scholarship cycles. Regular employees of CAP COM and its subsidiaries, volunteers and their immediate families are not eligible. Seasonal or temporary employees who are members of CAP COM are eligible to apply. Essays must be 500 words or fewer. If an essay is longer, judges will only read the first 500 words.
All application material must be received by May 1, 2019. All applicants will be notified of our decision by May 31, 2019.
