Scholarships

Applications now open! Apply by April 30, 2024.

Broadview is granting a total of $149,500 in scholarships in 2024. Scholarships will be awarded to 87 students to support their talents and advance their quest for knowledge.  
 
Students may apply for one or more scholarships, if eligible. Submissions are accepted until April 30 and winners will be notified by May 29. Best of luck to all the applicants! 

Broadview Initiative Scholarships

$2,500 each

Eligibility: Broadview or CAP COM members who are high school seniors or college students pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited 2- or 4-year college, university, or trade school.

Honoring: Honoring Paula Stopera, Robert Berroyer, John Ilacqua, Jean Myers, Weidner “Ed” Davis, Ed Gilligan, Dr. Carmen Cornute, Harold Horning, Judy DeLong, Robert Cornute, and Tim Jennings for their commitment and dedication to our legacy credit unions and embracing the credit union philosophy of “people helping people”.

Required: Complete two essay questions and list volunteer activities when you submit your application.

Broadview on Campus Scholarships

$2,000 each

Eligibility: Broadview or CAP COM members who are high school seniors or college students pursuing an undergraduate degree at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Skidmore College, University at Albany, and University at Buffalo.

Required: Complete one essay question and list volunteer activities when you submit your application.

Broadview Inclusion Scholarships

$2,000 each

Eligibility: Broadview or CAP COM members who are high school seniors or college students pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited 2- or 4-year college, university, or trade school.

This scholarship is for individuals who are of a historically excluded community, based on race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability differences, socioeconomic status, etc.

Required: Complete one essay question when you submit your application.
