Becoming a member of CAP COM opened a world of new opportunities for Kathryn...

My Story Kathryn

Kathryn joined CAP COM while a student at Shenedehowa High School, enjoying the convenience of the credit union’s student-run branch, The Vault, located near the cafeteria right at her school. When she wanted to study abroad during a summer term during college, she met with a Certified College Planning Specialist about a loan.

“This was not my first meeting for a loan, but it was my first with CAP COM. They made me feel like I was their priority, not just my money,” she said. “(College Specialist) Kim Donah was very patient with me and walked me through how the loan could affect my future income. She even gave me advice on my resume and skills that impress Human resource departments!”

Q: What makes CAP COM Unique?

A: CAP COM genuinely cares about its members, as was evident by seeing how much the company gives back to the community. I was touched by programs that CAP COM sponsors through its Foundation.
