CAP COM Scholarships

“As more and more families struggle to invest in their children’s future, supporting access to quality education has become a primary focus for CAP COM. The CAP COM Cares Foundation has contributed more than $500 million to support educational initiatives and scholarships in our community because we believe education is one of the best gifts we can give the next generation of leaders,” CAP COM President/CEO Paula A. Stopera.

CAP COM provides over $50,000 in scholarships and awards to our young adult members each year!

Making A Difference Award
The Credit Union’s Making a Difference Awards are given each year to local middle and high school students who show outstanding commitment to community service and volunteering. The awards celebrate teen members who embody the credit union philosophy of “people helping people.”

Art Goedeke Scholarship
Your love for computer technology could pay off with a $2,000 scholarship. CAP COM members who plan to pursue an undergraduate degree in computer science or information technology can apply for the Art Goedeke Memorial Scholarship.

Weidner "Ed" Davis Scholarship
Apply for the Weidner “Ed” Davis Scholarship and you could earn $2,500 toward college costs!CAP COM awards a total of $50,000 each year to 20 Weidner “Ed” Davis Scholarship winners. CAP COM members through age 25 who are graduating from high school or pursuing an undergraduate degree are eligible to apply! Winners are chosen based on a written essay that answers a prepared question.
