Youth Reading Programs

Winter Reading Deadline Extended
CAP COM announces that its Winter Reading Program deadline has been extended to April 30. With students doing more reading and schoolwork at home this month, we have opened the opportunity for more of our members to submit their reports in April. You can scan or take photos with your phone of the application and your reports. See submission options below.

Nothing opens a child's mind faster than a good book. We let our young members know how much we value literacy by offering three opportunities to earn money for reading books.

Get Money to read ALL year long!
Students in grades Kindergarten through 12 can earn up to $10 during each of our Fall, Winter and Summer Reading Programs.

Download the Reading Program form and you could earn up to $30 per year!*

Book Entry Guidelines
Ages 4 to 8 submit a drawing of a scene or the cover for each book
Ages 9 to 12 submit a 50-word written summary
Ages 13 to 18 submit a 100-word written summary

How do I submit?
Submit the entry form with the book summaries by scanning or taking a photo. In light of our change of access to branches, the preferred method is email.
