Who can join CAP COM?
Residents. Individuals who live, work, worship, or attend school in Albany, Cohoes, Mechanicville, Rensselaer, Schenectady, Troy, Watervliet, and Green Island can join.
Family Members. Immediate family and other individuals in the household of existing members can join. Eligible children (under 18) can open an account with a joint adult member.
Employees. The employees of more than 700 Capital Region Member Companies and organizations are eligible. Is your business interested in participating? Find out how.
Schools. Students at nearly 80 local schools participate in our School Banking Program. The program enables children with their guardians to open accounts, it promotes financial literacy, and rewards good savings and academic habits.
